Join sisters Laney and Maddie – “The Baggage Girls” on a 5-night campervan journey through Glacier National Park designed for travelers who want to move their bodies, disconnect from the noise of everyday life, and reconnect – with nature, creativity, and community.
The trip begins near Glacier’s west entrance at a private glamping basecamp, where the group gathers to unpack, settle into the vans, and get to know each other. From there, guests travel together by campervan, camping inside the park and waking up steps from alpine lakes, mountain trails, and iconic viewpoints.
Each day is thoughtfully paced around scenic drives, breathtaking hikes, refreshing swims, and peaceful moments in beautiful places. Expect sunrise at Lake McDonald, alpine lake trails in the Many Glacier region, and beautiful views near Logan Pass and Hidden Lake – all balanced with rest, journaling, photos, naps, and time to simply be.
Movement, nourishment, nature, and community are at the heart of this experience. Guests will share simple meals, casual campfire dinners, and evenings that invite conversation, laughter, and reflection. Content creation is woven into the flow of the trip, with guidance for those who want to capture photos or video – and zero pressure for those who don’t.
This trip is for people wanting to experience the outdoors alongside like-minded travelers. You’ll leave carrying new friendships and unforgettable memories in Glacier National Park.
Hi, I’m Maddie. My passion for travel and sustainability began at 18 during a four-month marine conservation program in the Bahamas, where I lived simply, dove daily, and gained a lifelong commitment to ocean conservation.
Since then, I’ve traveled to over 25 countries, developing my skills as a travel photographer, videographer, and marketing consultant. With a background in marketing and conservation, I specialize in helping small and sustainable brands tell their stories through visual content. I’ve worked with 40+ brands across the travel and sustainability space, and I currently run a marketing business with my sister in New England. I also co-own an oyster farm on Martha’s Vineyard, which continues to deepen my connection to marine conservation and sustainable living.
When I host trips, I’m focused on creating an experience that feels relaxed, collaborative, and creatively inspiring. I love helping guests slow down, notice their surroundings, and capture meaningful moments without pressure. Food, storytelling, and time outdoors play a big role in how I host, and I aim to make every trip feel like a shared adventure where everyone feels supported, included, and encouraged to engage at their own pace.
Hi, I’m Laney - Co-founder of Baggage, a travel brand that connects travelers with locally owned, eco-friendly businesses around the world. Our work lives at the intersection of travel, sustainability, wellness, and community, and we believe deeply that how we travel matters just as much as where we go.
Travel has shaped who I am - helping me move through grief, anxiety, and creative burnout, and reconnect with myself through time outdoors, movement, and meaningful experiences. It’s also how I’ve made many of my closest friends.
Through Baggage, my sister Maddie and I create content that highlights thoughtful, authentic travel - and with this trip, we’re taking that a step further by inviting guests to experience firsthand how we explore, connect with places, and travel with intention together.
As a host, I focus on creating intentional experiences. I believe deeply in sustainable living and wellness, and care about nourishing ourselves through whole foods, time outdoors, and movement - especially hiking and being immersed in nature on trips like this. Whether we’re cooking together, supporting local businesses, or exploring epic hiking trails, my goal is for guests to leave feeling more connected - to the place, to each other, and to themselves.
