This immersive three-hour adventure cat training workshop teaches you how to safely introduce your cat to outdoor adventures using gentle, proven training methods. You’ll learn how to size and fit a harness, introduce a leash, acclimate your cat to a backpack, and build confidence through structured outdoor activities.

Kaylin will walk you through real examples from her own travels, offer personalized tips for each attendee, and guide you through several hands-on training stations. You’ll also get a tour of a cat-friendly campervan setup and learn about group travel opportunities for cat parents. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to take your cat’s adventures to the next level, this workshop gives you everything you need to move forward confidently.

Hi, I’m Kaylin! I’m an outdoor content creator and adventure cat educator, and I’ve spent the last five years hiking, backpacking, camping and doing part-time van life with my Adventure Cat Max. I teach cat parents how to safely introduce their cats to the outdoors through gentle harness training, backpack acclimation and confidence-building techniques. My goal is simple: inspire people to get outside, empower them to bring their cats along and create unforgettable adventure experiences together.

Can I bring my cat to this workshop?

Yes, cats are welcome! Please ensure your cat is comfortable being around other cats and that you bring a secure carrier. Bringing your Cat is NOT mandatory. You can attend, learn, and gain more knowledge effectively without your can by your side.

What gear do I need to bring?

Bring your cat’s harness, leash, backpack (if you have one), treats, and a carrier. A full recommended gear list will be emailed to you after registration.

Is this workshop beginner-friendly?

Absolutely. Whether your cat has never worn a harness or is already going on small outings, all skill levels are welcome.

Will there be shaded or indoor areas for the cats?

Yes. The workshop includes shaded rest zones, regulated training areas, and shaded spaces in where cats can decompress.

What happens if my cat becomes overwhelmed?

Kaylin will help you adjust the training pace, take breaks, or use alternative exercises. The workshop is structured to be flexible and supportive for sensitive or nervous cats. If needed, you can hang in your vehicle with your can until any anxiety passes.
